1. Who this is for
LearnedIQ is a drafting, review, and compliance-tracking tool built for licensed Nigerian legal practitioners and law students. By using LearnedIQ, you confirm you are a legal practitioner, pupil, or law student, or are using the platform under the supervision of one.
2. Not legal advice
LearnedIQ is an AI-assisted drafting and research tool. Nothing generated by LearnedIQ — including drafted documents, procedural guidance, limitation-period calculations, or document review findings — constitutes legal advice. LearnedIQ is not a law firm and does not form a solicitor-client relationship with any user. All outputs must be independently reviewed and verified by a licensed legal practitioner before use, filing, or reliance in any professional or legal capacity.
3. AI-generated content and citation accuracy
LearnedIQ uses artificial intelligence to draft documents and analyse contracts. Where a document references a statute, section, or court rule, LearnedIQ verifies that citation against its own sourced legal corpus before displaying it. Where no verified authority is available, LearnedIQ will state this explicitly rather than presenting an unverified citation as fact. Despite these safeguards, you remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, currency, and applicability of any AI-generated content before relying on it.
4. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up, including a valid email address. You may not share your account with another practitioner without upgrading to an applicable multi-seat plan.
5. Subscription and billing
LearnedIQ offers a Free tier and paid Solo, Practice, and Chambers tiers billed monthly or annually. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
6. Client data you input
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to input any client or third-party information into LearnedIQ, and for complying with your professional obligations of confidentiality when doing so. We recommend avoiding entry of highly sensitive client-identifying information where not strictly necessary for the document or task at hand.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use LearnedIQ to generate documents intended to mislead a court, defraud a third party, or facilitate any unlawful act. We may suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of this section.
8. Limitation of liability
LearnedIQ is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnedIQ and its operators are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content, service interruptions, or data loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
